Leigh Welch

LW Dance Studios officially opened in September 2015 and are based in Peacehaven, East Sussex.We run classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & and do after School clubs all around East Sussex.

 

We cater for ages 2 and above, boys & girls welcome! We do a Summer show & a Christmas Show every year and take part in competitions, events and performances too.

We specialize in Jazz, Street, Commercial, Lyrical, Contemporary, Latin & Ballroom, Baby ballet & Line dancing!

​

Leigh Welch is the principal teacher of LW Dance Studios and she lives and breaths for dance! She runs her dance school whilst looking after her 2 young children - Archie & M,ickey. 

​

Leigh has been dancing since the age of 2. This included Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street & Freestyle. She found her love for Latin & Ballroom & Linedancing at the age of 10. This has been her passion ever since along with Street dance & Lyrical/Contemporary.  She holds over 20 World Champion Titles, numerous European titles & she was British Champion for 3 years in a row. 

​

 She now has her own competitive Team - Velocity who compete all around the World including the World championships in August every year. They now hold the World Championship title for Standard Team - 2 YEARS RUNNING!

​

She has been teaching dance since the age of 15. She has starred in many pantomimes such as Aladdin & Cinderella and travelled all over the World competing to such places as America, Holland, Sweden, France, Spain, Germany & more. 

​

She loves working with children and building their confidence through Dance! She hopes her passion and experience will guide them through their dancing journey!
